Let's Talk About Eyebrows: Eyebrows 101

Hello lovelies!

Today I'm going to talk you through my brows.

People say to me "your eyebrow game is on point" I couldn't appreciate it more than I do. So I'm going to tell you my little nifty tips and tricks on to getting your brows lovely and defined. In no way am I saying my eyebrows are perfect, but they are definitely suitable for everyday life!

Tips & Tricks

• Match a pencil or shadow with your eyebrow - for example if you have light brown eyebrows, don't fill them in with black or a very dark brown shadow! Match up as perfect as you can.

• Getting them shaped - pluck them if you desire but you need to be careful, over plucking leads to serious damage (such as wonky brows). You can get then shaped by having HD brows, threaded ect. I have had my brows threaded.

• Pencil or Powder? - when starting off with grooming your brows, you really want to be as natural as you can and use products that aren't too difficult to use. Pencil is a little risky as you need to apply gentle pressure. With a powder, you can tap and add as much as you want. I personally feel more comfortable with powder, and the eyeshadow I use for my eyebrows has amazing staying powder, it's the only aspect of my makeup that stays on all day! I do know you can use gels for your eyebrows, but pencil or powder is definitely the easiest way to go!

•

Line your brow brush next to the side of your nose. That's where naturally your eyebrows should start. As you can see my eyebrow goes slightly over haha. I prefer it that way.

Line your brow brush in an angle next to the side/end of your nose (hopefully you can see haha!). This is where the highest point of your brow should be (the arch).

Finally, line your brow brush just underneath your lower waterline (basicay under the eye) and that should be the end of your brow.

My Eyebrows

I fill my eyebrows in with the real techniques accent brush (above) as this helps give more definition and I can be as accurate as I possible can with this. And also I use the Naked basics pallete and I use the shade Faint to lightly fill them in.

Faint is the dark brown colour. I also use Venus which is the first colour on the left as a brow bone highlight.

I hope this helped you all!

What do you use for your brows?
