Social Media & Society

Hellooooo lovelies!

Today I'm going to talk about social media. I've seen a lot of people on Instagram and all these sites getting themselves down so I thought I would just give a very serious speech (I'm not a serious person at all, nope).

Social media can be good but in some ways it's not. Lots of people (teens mainly) can feel under pressure and feel as if they have to fit society's interherpratations of a "perfect girl/boy". Apparently you need a thigh gap and have to be skinny.

You do not need to listen to anyone about being skinny or having a thigh gap. I certainly do not have a thigh gap and I have realised that as long as I'm happy with myself that's all that matters! I have took a turn with being healthy and rather than choosing fattening foods I choose the foods that will be better for my body, and it makes me feel a lot better!

That was my choice, speaking from experience I have been called "fat" a lot of times and I know I'm not the skinniest girl ever and that's exactly how I want to be. So why should you or anyone feel unhappy with the way they look just because some low-life calls you a rude name? It makes me angry how people think it's okay to judge someone like that.

If you feel unhappy with your body just because YOU don't like it then change it. But don't let other people make you do that.

Wear whatever you want to wear, do whatever you want to do because who cares about what other people say?! As long as you are happy that's all that matters!

Do more of what you love because life is way too short, so why waste it trying to please society?

You (directly to you) are a wonderful person, don't let anyone bring you down because you are so much better than them, trust me!

I hope this has helped a few of you out. If you ever want to talk to me feel free to dm me on...
