Hair Care Routine & Tips♡

Hello my lovelies and welcome back to my blog!

I have been taking really good care of my hair lately (very proud as I never used to!) and thought I would share with you my hair care routine, tips for having healthy hair and growing out your hair!

• The Routine

In the shower, I use my V05 revive me daily shampoo and conditioner. This claimed to refresh tired, limp hair and also include heat defence. I love this shampoo and conditioner, my hair feels so soft and shiny once it's dry after using these products. Would highly reccomend these!

After getting out the shower, I will either brush my hair with a comb or my tangle teezer. Tangle teezers are amazing and totally worth £12!

I then like to pump a tiny bit of Schwarzkopf got 2b Argan oil in my hair. This is really good, it just helps tames my flyaways and oh it's a dream. I tend to not dry my hair after a shower with a hair dryer, I just leave it to dry on its own.

If I use heat after leaving it to dry, I prep my hair with the L'orèal Paris Elnett Satin heat styling spray. I really like this, it's a good heat protectant that helps tame my flyaways (my flyaways are terrible).

And that's really my hair care routine! Now for some tips...

• Tips: Healthy Hair

I have a lot of hair, whether it be short or long as my hair is so thick! So it's very important I take a lot of care with it. As I said, I use an Argan oil in my hair which really nourishes it and adds a lovely shine.
When my hair is wet, I don't brush it as this will break my hair or leave spilt ends. So, I comb my hair after a shower to get rid of all noughts. Or, I use my tangle teezer which is a life saver!
I always use heat protection (as it says above) for my hair as I use so much heat on my hair (basically everyday!) so it's important I protect it.

• Tips: Hair Growth

In September/ August last year, I was in much desperate need of hair growth! My hair was short and very dry. I even bought a hair growth serum for my hair which only made it very greasy! So don't buy hair growth serums, they are not worth it at all. I'm going to share with you my own tips that helped me!

• Drink plenty of water
This may seem silly, but drinking water is very good for you as well as your hair!

• Don't wash your hair too often
Washing your hair too often can take out all the natural oils you need in your hair. Of course, wash your hair when you need to!

• Wash your hair 2-5 times a week
I was my hair 3-4 times a week, but this definitely varies with what hair type you have.

• Make sure to find the correct shampoo and conditioner
You need to find the shampoo and conditioner that suits your hair. Try different ones out, you will soon find the perfect one for you!

• Don't use too much heat
While you are growing out your hair, try not to use too much heat as this can damage your hair (even with heat protectant believe it or not! :( ) my hair is naturally frizzy and wavy so it really needs heat, but try to work with your natural hair!

Thankyou for reading this blogpost and I really hope it helps some of you out!

Lots of love
